Adored Japanese woodblock artist Hirokazu Fukuda (1944-2004) personally designed, hand-carved, and, with the aid of professionals, hand-printed his works using traditional methods dating back to the beginning of the 17th century. Over 20 different Fukuda pieces available, all beautiful, all individually stamped and signed by the artist on hand-made torinokoshi paper. Woodblock artist David Stones was born in England and studied at the Lincoln College of Art before settling permanently in Japan in 1972. Stones works in the Japanese woodblock tradition of the Edo Period (1603-1867), hand-carving and hand-painting all of his works without the involvement of machinery.
